Fuji Machine has it’s headquarter near Nagoya. Their specialty is developing SMT machines that puts components on printed circuit boards. Within the last few years, they have also begun to work with welfare technology.
Together with Odense Municipality and Health Innovation Centre of Southern Denmark, ILLUMINAUT has participated in the testing of some of the prototypes Fuji Machine has developed in this area. Both at Odense University Hospital, a nursing home and at a special center for education in patient transfers.
ILLUMINAUTs task is typically to ensure that the technology is properly cleared and introduced in the country, and that the necessary resources are in place to ensure that the test is interpreted correctly with regard to the differences and similarities between Japanese and Danish welfare system and technology.
Furthermore ILLIMINAUT works together with Fuji Machine to launch a summer camp project with education in technology and robots, where Danish and Japanese children work together for a week of their summer vacation.
